CLAP your hands! I've noticed here lately Landyn loves to clap his hands together and he gets a big 'ol grin on his face when you clap with him!

Photoshop for teh win!11!!

I just absolutely love this picture of Landyn! I loaded it up in photoshop and did a little touching up.. well really just some editing, can't mess with perfection eh? hehe!

So to give a short little photoshop tutorial, I made the picture b/w in a layer, then I created a mask on that layer and painted back in his beautiful eyes and his fun little sleeper! I jacked up the hue/saturation to really bring out the colors (did that in another layers as well). Next (or maybe it was last?) I adjusted the levels of the overall picture to make sure that everything was exposure correct :)

I guess the only downside to doing stuff like this is... it can be a really, really big time sink! I really want to learn how to do editing in photoshop and have found a few good tutorials on the interwebtubes. Psdtuts.com and 70 Horror PS tuts are a pretty good place to start. Well all for now, FLIP!

Whew... I'm Pooped!!!

Of course "Peanut" was just playing and posing, he wasn't really trying to take a nap heh. It's been a long stretch for me, don't know what I was thinking but I scheduled myself 9 days in a row. Had one of my associates go on vacation and we had to cover the time off, next time I'll double check to make sure I don't do another long haul, heh! Thankfully this is my last day in the stretch and I've got the next two days off (yay!). Gonna spend some quality time with Landyn and take lots of pictures of course. So a little teaser for ya... I snapped off 20 pics of him this morning after he woke up from his nap.

Just a little more snow...

Little more snow to add to what we got this Thursday. Of course it had melted away Friday. Sure was a sight to see falling though :)

I've got a few more pictures of Landyn and Hailey. I took some of Landyn sitting in his highchair eating and playing. Hailey is playing her Nintendo DS in the floor.

Woo Hoo! It's our first SNOW DAY! I hope that everyone is enjoying it and if your out traveling do be careful! I was lucky enough to already have the day off :)

Happy Birthday Hailey!

Friday was Miss Hailey's birthday, we took her to Chuck E. Cheese that day, but we had her official party on Saturday. Like we did last year we had it at Countryside Lanes in Kernersville. Everyone got to bowl and have a pretty good time :) After all the bowling we went to their party room/nursery (heh) to eat, have cake and open presents. Good times!Hailey received lots of neat presents and will be coloring, playing her DS, and color-wondering for awhile, HEH! I've oodles of pictures to share so let's get to it...

Heh, that boy is just adorable, no? I snapped off a few pics of him on the bed, I was changing him and getting him into his night clothes when he decides to flip over and pose! :) What a mess... heh.

Not much going on this week, I had to take my days off this week early because I've got a meeting to go to Friday! Fun, fun stuff I'm sure :P

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Happy New Year everyone! This past year has been an extremely life changing year for me. With the birth of my son, my world has forever been changed, and what a change it is! I'm so looking forward to this year and all the things that it has to offer. Landyn is the best blessing anyone could ask for and it is such a joy to watch him grow, laugh, learn and just enjoy his little piece of the world.

My dear little Hailey, she has come such a long way in her fight against the weight. She's done so well this past year, and has lost a grand total of 55+ pounds. She is so much more energetic and full of herself :P Keep up the good work!

To my wife, it's been such a great and wonderful year! I love you so much and hope to see a thousand more NEW YEAR's together :) I LOVE YOU!

Oh and of course I took pictures today! Landyn played and played in the floor today, sitting up like only a big boy can. He had a grand time and entertained us all.
