Landyn loves the outside!

Today I was outside playing with Landyn while Tammy was planting some flowers that she had bought earlier. Landyn loves to play outside, he was chasing the cats, playing in the dirt and getting into everything he could! Here's a set of pictures I took earlier today!

This afternoon/evening were outside enjoying the lovely weather, Landyn was playing, running and into everything! He had a blast! I grabbed my camera and followed him around a little bit to take some pictures of him doing his thing :)

Landyn and the cat toy...

I'm really digging my new lens! Hands down it was a great purchase.

Learning how to operate the thing always leads me to take tons of pictures :) That's always a good side effect! The link below leads to pictures that I took on Saturday. These are of Landyn playing with the cat and the cat's toy :) The boy is a mess for sure (my usual response for Landyn!)

New Sigma 30mm f/1.4 lens!

Today I received my new Sigma lens that I won on eBay! Got a pretty good deal on it, slightly used but about $150 off the retail price!

Of course the first thing I've gotta do is make sure it's in 100% working condition and shoot off a bunch of pictures :)

This evening we stepped outside to enjoy the nice weather and play on the swingset with Landyn and Hailey. Of course when the moment hits I grab my camera :) I snapped off some poses of our cat Snickers too, she was hanging out being a little loner so I stuck my camera in her face :)

WhiBal, plus a few pictures!

Today I received my WhiBal card. This is a grey card to help give accurate white balance when shooting your pictures. Basically it helps me make sure that my camera doesn't muck up the cast of overall colors when taking pictures. Keeps them all uniform. Of course I have pictures to share that have been balanced :)

Oh Hai! I let u out now?

When "Peanut" was asleep yesterday I took some pictures around the house and out the door. Just so happened that Chocolate was wanting to come in or maybe let me out, hehe. I took a lot of pictures of cars going by the house and adjusted the shutter speed to get various effects. Speed it up and they look like they are stopped in motion, slow it down and they blur as if they are moving fast. Fun, fun stuff :)

Tonight is bowling night! Sadly though, I'm not going to be able to attend. I've pulled something in my back, either slept wrong or twisted a muscle. I've had back issues since high school, most of the time I get along just fine, and then all of a sudden... BOOM! Ah well... such is life I guess :) Cyas on the FLIP!

These are from yesterday and the day before. If your wondering about the pictures of the toys those are some of Landyn's Christmas presents :) Never hurts to start early eh? There's some pictures of him eating his squash, which he's done pretty good with his jar food so far. Today though, he's been really fussy and we think he might have had too much yesterday and it upset his stomach :( Anywho.. all for now FLIP!
