Saw a good article on TUAW today, it showed how to use Photoshop to make a fake tilt-shift lens effect. Basically it gives the effect of toy/miniature look to photos. Works really well on shots of scenery with buildings. I couldn't find any in my immediate library of photos, so I chose another that I thought would look pretty good. I like the results! It draws your eyes directly to the in focus parts of the photo and the main subjects. I'll have to give this another go with a scenic photo, have to search the rest of my photo library :)
