Well, I've now had my new phone for 5 days... my first thoughts on this device are extraordinary. This thing is better than any smart phone I've ever owned, much better. Web browsing is a dream, it's almost the same as desktop browsing except on a smaller screen. The way that programs are tightly integrated is phenomenal. You can click off a picture, it gets geotagged with the integrated A-GPS, then you can instantly send that to any of your contacts in the phone as an email (or email to blogger). Lots of eye candy here, neat little animations and sound effects that match up nicely. I've played with the Touch at work and loved the control you had with the touch screen and how well it worked with the use of a finger. That is quite evident in the iPhone counterpart as well. Something new with this phone, well actually the new 2.0 software, is they have added 3rd party applications that you can download OTA with your phone (as long as they are under 10MB's) or with iTunes from your desktop and then sync them to the phone like you would your songs. I think I remember reading that over 500 apps were available when the app store was launched, and a good part of those are free downloads. So you can try them out and if you don't like, just delete them off. So far my favorite app is one by Google, it looks very nice on the iPhone's UI... it's basically access to almost all of the Google related products in a neat little package, oh and did I mention it searches your phone plus the internet. I've found that I have 3G service at home (which doesn't really matter since I use my wi-fi) and at work! Of course I checked this before I bought my phone. That, I think, will be a major downfall for a lot of people who get this and can't use the faster speeds. I haven't been with AT&T since it was called Bellsouth Mobility PCS (wow that's been along time), but so far no complaints on the quality of the calls I've made and received. I'd have to say that, so far, my only real complaint is that I can't tether my phone to a computer and use the phone as a modem. Well, you can do this but you have to do what is called "jailbreaking", which of course voids your warranty and all that good jazz. I'm not willing to mess with a finely crafted software/hardware combination like is present in this phone.
Wow, I've written quite the little rant huh? :) Last things, the picture above is from the phone... you can take screenshots by pressing two buttons. Very neat. Lastly, here are a few pictures I've taken with the phone, there are some that are not from it... one of the cat and the other of Landyn (that was taken on Tammy's phone).

Wow, that is so cool. It shows where you took the picture. That is amazing. I know you are enjoying your phone. Love ya bunches!
I'm very happy for sure. :) even if I did wait a year to finally get one. I called and cancelled my other phones, but still have to have one left on due to early termination bs. If they would have prorated,I would have them turn it off. Since they don't though, I guess it will be a backup phone till November. :) love ya too!
